ALBERTA WHITETAIL DEER HUNTS:
Ever dreamed of hunting giant Canadian trophy whitetails? Well here’s your chance to book that trip of a lifetime with our outfitter. The key ingredients in harvesting an Alberta trophy whitetail is area access, knowledge and constant scouting and patterning. Our Outfitter, through his network of family and friends and their extensive knowledge of the area, finds and patterns these big bucks which allows him to position you in the "hot spot" thus maximizing your chances at the "Dream Buck". Relax and enjoy the camp ambiance and camaraderie with your friends, old and new, at the end of each day sharing your stories and videos/pictures of the day's experience and eating a great meal while the staff takes care of all the details and prepares for your next day’s hunt. You're our guest and we want you to feel like it. |
|
If you're looking for giant Alberta bucks this is your outfitter.
HUNT: Your guided Alberta whitetail hunt is a seven (7) day trip with five (5) full days of some of the best deer hunting found in North America. You arrive in Edmonton, Alberta the day before your hunt to meet with our outfitter. From there you travel into camp where you will be treated to home cooked meal and you will prepare for your hunt to start the following morning. The next morning your five day hunt starts. You will hunt for the entire five days or until you are tagged out. On day seven you will return to Edmonton to catch your flight home.
AREA: We're located just west of Edmonton, Alberta’s world famous “Bow only Zone”. You'll be hunting in thousands of acres of farmland amongst many lakes and river bottoms. Ongoing and extensive scouting will have taken place before you arrive for your hunt, therefore we will be able to set up near well used travel routes and feeding areas
GUIDES: Our Outfitter has over 20 yrs of Canadian big game hunting experience. He has been active in the guiding and outfitting business ever since he was a young man. He has also done extensive research on whitetails both in Saskatchewan and Alberta, and has found that this area has some of the largest whitetail deer that North America has to offer. This is a family operation that only takes 18 hunters each year on thousands of privately owned farm land. His vast knowledge of the area shows his commitment to his clients.
WHAT TO EXPECT: The hunter should expect a quality hunt with world class trophy potential. We cannot guarantee a trophy whitetail, but rest assured that our staff will work hard to make your Alberta whitetail hunt, one of a lifetime. Bucks in the 140”-200”+ range are to be expected for the hunter. Primary methods of hunting are from heated ground blinds, tripods, and tree stands.
Sitting in a blind, or tree stand, can be long and boring, but it has been proven time and time again that this will give you the best opportunity at your "dream buck". In our hunting area you just never know when that next great granddad is going to appear in front of your blind. So be prepared to sit all day long - and pay attention! Many times hunters have nodded off and when they awoke there were deer in front of them. Remember Patience, Patience, and Patience!
Each morning you will be fed a hardy wholesome breakfast and a bag lunch will be provided for you. We'll fill a thermos with your choice of beverage and take you out to the hunting area.
Trophy care
Once you have your Dream Alberta Buck back at camp the utmost care will be given to your trophy. Complete caping will be done at this time, (eyes, ears, lips, etc), then your trophy will be salted down, and tagged. Many outfits just take the uncompleted cape and freeze it, "Good thing for these people that the airlines never lose your luggage"!!!!! I would hate to see what your cape would look like if it spent a week in a terminal in Florida. So salt is the best as the temperature will not affect a salted cape.
